The Dalton McGuinty and Dr. Suzanne C. Allen spoof – Don’t Believe Every Email and then pass all the Baloney On

My friend passed this frightening bit of information about our Government making some really weird decisions.  Then I started making some enquiries as to the correctness of this email.

Here is the Email… about our Province of Ontario’s Premiere, Dalton McGuinity.
(Caution read this with care – it isn’t true…)
PLEASE READ AND SHARE WITH EVERYONE!
Dalton McGuinty is worm-slime!  Now they are able to play "God"!!!!!
So much for caring for the people who worked hard for this country!!!
In a conversation about the "future," Dr. Suzanne Allen, head of emergency services at the Wilson Medical Center in Toronto, was asked if she has seen any affects of the upgraded health Care in her work.  "Oh, yes.  We are seeing cutbacks throughout the services we provide. For example, we are now having to deal with patients who would normally receive dialysis can no longer be accepted.  In the past, there was always automatic approval under OHIP for anyone who needed dialysis --not anymore."  So, what will be their outcome? "They will die soon without dialysis," she stated. What about other services?  She indicated as of 2013 , no one over 75 will be given major medical procedures unless approved by locally administered Ethics Panels. These Panels will determine whether a patient receives medical treatment or not. While details on specific operating procedures and schedules, Dr. Allen points out that most life-threatening emergencies do not occur during normal hospital business hours, and if there are emergencies that depend to be resolve within minutes or just few hours, the likely hood of getting these Panels approval in time to save a life are going to be very challenging and difficult, if not impossible she said. This applies to major operations such as receiving stents, bypass surgery, kidney operations, or treating for an aneurysm that would be normally covered under OHIP today. In other words, if you needed a life-saving operation, OHIP will not provide coverage anymore after 2013 if you are 75 or over.  When in 2013? "We haven't been given a specific date --could be in January or July....but it's after the American election." This is shocking to any of us who will be 75 this year. Her advice--get healthy and stay healthy.  We do not know the specifics of the actual implementation of the full  Care policies and procedures--"they haven't filtered down to the local level yet. But we are already seeing severe cuts in what we provide to the elderly -- we refused dialysis to an individual who was 78 just the other day....we refused to give stents to a gentleman who was in his late 80s." Every day, she said, we are seeing these cutbacks aimed at reducing care across the board for anyone who is over 75. We can only hope that some day   new OHIP  will be overturned by the Supreme Court --otherwise, this is a death sentence to those who are over 75...perhaps you should pass this on to your friends who are thinking of voting for Dalton MaGuinty next time around. Regardless if you have private health care coverage now (a Medical supplement) -- it will no longer apply after 2013 if the Ethics Panels disapprove of a procedure that may save your life.  Scary, scary, scary. Think about this. You? Your parents? Your loved ones? Didn't know about it?  Of course, not.  As Dalton MaGuinty said...."well, if you want to know what's in the bill, you'll have to read it..." after it was passed.  This is a graphic reminder of the need to stay healthy. Get your plot now at your earliest convenience..while they last. Is this a death sentence to those of us who will reach 75?... Yes!  Please do pass this along to those in your address book. Dr. Suzanne C. Allen, MD is a real person. If society deems you a burden due to age or infirmity, you should be willing to die to benefit society.
So from this email and its contents I can surmise that Dalton McGuinty is “worm slime”??? And especially that he has said all this in reaction to a Dr. Suzanne C. Allen – who works at the Wilson Medical Center emergency services…???

Well there is more to the story if we simply stop and THINK.

Dalton McGuinty doesn’t know this Doctor – other than by this stupid email – is my guess. And in all likelihood Dalton’s Office has some reaction already from good but very stupid people. Sorry friends… if you pass it on, it is not too wise without knowing the truth.

The original email was circulated in the USA and is in reaction to President Obama’s Government decision. It can be found on “Snopes” at http://www.snopes.com/politics/medical/over75.asp

Needless to say – in the USA many good Christian(red neck) folk hate Obama and his Obamacare.  (Now that is a nasty slam from a so called Christian Minister! That is a terrible generalization of the state of affairs in the USA!)
How could we be so stupid to think that Dalton McGuinty is Obama!!?  Dalton is WHITE.  God help us dumb Canadians to think that we would have any kind of Government like the dear folk south of us!!!

My Point…?  Read what you receive – and read it carefully with some kind of a critical eye.

I can tell you that I come from solid prairie roots and rural roots on top of that. I can tell you honestly what Bull Crap looks like. I know what it smells like. I know what it feels like.  BUT don’t try to feed me Bull Crap – because I do not need to taste it.. which means you want me to swallow it!

Bull Crap comes out of a lot of emails these days.  Yikes!!!

Thanks for this... My father keeps sending me links to other outrageous emails and asking me if it's true or not.... What i find funny is that there is not EVEN a Wilson Medical Centre....

Now I still don't know whether this has any truth in it. Seems very silly to me. Nothing better to print ? Very poor.

As far as Canadians and people from Ontario are concerned this email is NUTS - Crazy - WRONG - Baloney.. etc. The Medical Center mentioned as being on Toronto - DOES NOT EXIST - the Doctor Mentioned is not in Toronto or Canada - but in the USA - or not. The email that I received is BULL!

Happy to learn the e mail was untrue. However, I am concerned for what OHIP has become. Certain tests such as MRI and others to detect skeletal and muscle damage after injury are not done to pinpoint the injury until months later when complete healing should have occurred but hasn't. I don't cal this good health care. A PET scan clinic was opened in Ontario in Windsor but has now had the OHIP funding reduced by more than half and also the number 0f patients reduced significantly. Where is the economy in having to treat patients for prolonged periods of time.

I AM FROM TORONTO ONTARIO CANADA. This article is completely FALSE!!! I work for the Ministry of Health of Ontario!!! First....the Wilson Medical Centre does not exist in Toronto. Secondly....I checked with the College of physicians and surgeon in Ontario and Dr Suzanne Allen DOES NOT EXIST IN ONTARIO!!!
This article has been written to Brainwash the American people in believing that our Health Care in Canada Sucks...We do not incur a large debt or lose our homes in Ontario in order to receive the best medical services the Province has to offer!!!

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like
you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could
do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is excellent blog.
A fantastic read. I'll definitely be back.
