Fairies – or Faeries – are coming to Lakefield.. and new Hand carved Pendants
with Teddy Bears
Hey Blog Readers…
good news!
The Fairies of and
near Lakefield Ontario are about to be featured in a big way in the next few
weeks. Through “Celtic Connections” and
the Proprietor Mary McGillis folk will be able to see real evidence of Fairies (Faeries)
in their community. Mind you Misty
Hollow Carving will have a hand in this adventure as well. Misty Hollow (that’s
me) will be carving a number of Fairy Doors for the businesses of
Lakefield. When installed the doors will
provide access for the Fairies to the businesses. They also will be a neat Tourist attraction
for this summer.
I can’t wait.
Today with this
posting I am presenting my new series of carvings. These carvings are made as a
possible Pendant for necklaces.
Using my carved
heart design from a few weeks ago… I have added some playful Teddy Bears in a
number of positions with the heart.
