Running or Ruining the House – I am in Trouble!

Nuts… have you ever tried to find something that your wife bought and you have no idea which store it was? I walked down the aisle of the store today looking for the brand that she requested! Arghhh! Not in that store!!!

That was one task. The other was getting the washing done and the dryer cycle spinning the right way. But that was added to the unbelievable task of just running the house. (As I typed out this sentence just now spell check caught “ruining” when I meant “running.” But ruining in likely what I am doing right now!)

My friend lost his wife to another man not long ago. He has told me how hard it is to be both Dad and Mom at the same time plus keep the house up as well. Now I believe him – totally. He really doesn’t mind about the loss of his wife – but the doing of both jobs is ridiculous. At least the part about being two people is tough!

My wife suddenly lost all interest in life with a real nasty 24 Hour Bug that hit her. Fever has been very high. Sleeping is the only cure… and completely away from it all is the greatest need.

But life has to go on. With much planned and huge issues to deal with – I cannot stop moving.

I forgot some things I am sure… but then I will find out about them later this week. I know I forgot something… somewhere… some time.

What a week to start renovations on a basement!

BUT I got it done and the paint is drying now.

I have a new empathy for my friend now. Hey Bro C – I admire you more than my words can express!

This post is for you Bro! You are the man. My effort is for about 48 hours or maybe 72… yours does not stop.

Gotta run… get super in the oven. The 90 year old is hungry… I think I might be if I slow down… and maybe my wife will handle soup tonight… or maybe a baked potato… hmmmm???
