Doing Dr. Dad aint fun!

What appears to be a Flu like condition for my wife has persisted for over 72 hours now. This is definitely not normal.

Doing the Dr. Dad thing is not easy.

It appears now that we may well be facing a complication with an antibiotic that was prescribed on Sunday at the Emergency Department. Though the instruction sheet accompanying the prescription stated that there could be some side affects, this appears to be more severe.

BLAH – what do you do for a wife that is sick and not able to think clearly?

But going to the Internet and plugging in the name of the product that she took and then reading the web pages that describe some of the things that others have experienced, WE HAVE A BIGGER PROBLEM NOW!

Yep – I will be calling the real Doctor’s Office shortly.. and doing the re-dial thing for an hour or so… and then maybe taking Alida to see the man… or maybe to the Hospital again… or maybe….?????

I don’t like doing the Dr. Dad thing at all. My suggestions to my wife don’t work. Argggghhh!

If I could take her out to the garage and take her apart a little – you know just a few screws out here and a part off there…I am sure I could fix her up. I can fix almost anything else… I should be able to fix here too.

But no way.. she doesn’t think I know which screw needs to come loose.

I gotta call the Doctor soon… Gotta run…
