New
Swear Words for the Car and also for Scrabble
I
have to admit that sometimes when I am driving I talk to other drivers that can’t
hear me. It is something that I learned
from my Dad, who used to do it often. I suspect that it is a trait that can be passed
down.
I
suspect also that the trait to drive like an idiot on Senior’s Day in our
community is also something that is passed down to these drivers around me.
A
common superlative that Dad used and that I use is, “What a Donkey! Come one
get moving you Donkey!!” as the dude in front of me missed three opportunities
to pull out in to traffic. “What is
wrong with the Donkey in front of us?”
There
are times that I can see the other drivers around us also talking to themselves
– or maybe me. I read lips quite well and they are not using the ‘Donkey” word.
Ahem!
But
as of today I can now expand my vocabulary and if the other guy reads lips he will
scratch his head I am sure.
The
driver in front of me that won’t move will now possibly be called a ‘Hinny’ or ‘Jennet’
and maybe a ‘Jenny’.
If
that doesn’t work I will slip into ‘Zeedonk’ – along with that I now have the
ability to use also known a zebrass,
zebronkey, zonkey, zebradonk, zenkey or zeebra
And if ‘Hinny’ or Zeedonk doesn’t seem to move
the idiot – maybe ‘Zorse’ will!
I feel so much more liberated now. I can get them
going without saying the old ‘Donkey’ word!!!
Where did these all come from? Well each morning I try to load up my mind
with something new. And today the new words were about animals from or related
to the Donkey family.
Of course you know that a ‘Mule’ is the offspring
of a Male Donkey and a Female Horse.
Now here is the information that I am sure you
will need to begin using the new words comfortably in traffic as well…
A ‘Hinny’ is the offspring of a Male Horse and a
Female Donkey.
A ‘Zeedonk’ is the offspring of a Zeebra and a
Horse. Wikipedia states – quote – “A zebroid (also zedonk, zorse, zebra mule, and zebrule) is the offspring
of any cross between a zebra and any other equine: essentially, a zebra hybrid. In most cases, the sire is a zebra stallion. Offspring of
a donkey sire and zebra dam, called a zebra hinny, or donkra, do exist but are rare. Zebroids have been bred
since the 19th century. Charles
Darwin noted several zebra hybrids in his works.” End
quote.
There
now you are able to talk better in the car to the other drivers around you.
And
further more you are so much better ready for coffee break this morning. You can practice on the buddies around you
and they will think you are a genius.
But
think of scrabble and the folk you play with. These are new words that use huge
value tiles… specially the zeedonk, zedonk, zebroid, zeebra and zebrule!!!!
And
if they doubt that tell them that Murray Lincoln said it is okay… it was found
on the Internet!!
