Celebrating Lace Making, Bobbin Lace and Counted Cross Stitch today – New Creations at the Peterborough Fibre Fest
Today is a unique day. I am demonstrating two kinds of Lace Making along with two of my students. Wow!

Both students are now better than their teacher.  What an honor to sit with them at this showing.

My first student was my daughter Dana. When she was a small girl she began to do Counted Cross Stitch with me. From very small projects up to her creations of today, it is amazing what this gal can do!

Recently she has completed a beautiful butterfly for one of her coworkers.  The pattern was created from a photo of a real butterfly.  It simply takes your breath away. The colour blends are amazing to say the least. Yes – it will be at our show today!

The other student with me today is Angela.  Angela now does tatting along with her many other crafts.  She has become a very good tatter who is able to create new things.  Angela is the most recent of maybe over 1000 students that are now tatting somewhere in the world or at least know how.

I love creating something new. It is my greatest love. The second greatest love is when one of my students has caught the idea and is now doing even more than I do.

I intend to get lots of photos today to add to my other Web Site presentations.

If you are local to our area and read this in enough time – come on down to our Library on Aylmer Street, we are in the lower level. We would love to have you come along to the Fibre Fest - 10 AM to 4 PM
